The Land: A United Methodist Faith Community

The Land is a budding faith community located in
Aurora, Colorado gathering people together around food, faith and farming.

Vision

To cultivate a faith community that nourishes sacred relationships between the Creator and all of Creation.

Mission

To draw people together from all walks of life to cultivate spiritual community through faith, farming, and food.

How do you get to the Land? There are a few ways!

 

  • You can take I-225 North and exit on Iliff Avenue heading East. Iliff Avenue will turn into Jewell. so just keep going straight for a long time. When you believe you have reached the end of civilization, take a Left onto Powhaton Road and The Land will be on your right hand side, marked by a green cattle fence.
  • You can take E-470 (which is a Toll Road) and exit off on Jewell. Take a right onto Jewell going straight until you reach Powhaton Road. Take a Left on Powhaton. The Land is on your right hand side and is marked with a green cattle fence.

*You will know you are getting close to taking a left onto Powhaton Road when you pass the Murphy Creek Golf Course and Residential Neighborhood.
